The Fair Harbor bay at sunset:
I will not be writing for the next couple of days, for I am lounging at the beach on Fire Island (Fair Harbor.) It's beautiful and sunny and perfect for sleeping, eating, catching up on work, and certainly not looking at the clock for any kind of a reminder of a routine [that I am oh so accustomed to in the city.] Although, today at around 4pm, little ant-sized shrimp invaded the ocean. Why? I don't know. This happened a couple of years ago as well, and man do they spoil the fun of a beach day. Hopefully the waves will get rougher and take them away from here.
I lament:
Robert Johnson - Dead Shrimp Blues.
He's amazing. Good for lounging too, too.
