half of deadboy & the elephantmen, Dax Riggs
This is for today. I'm watching Dax Riggs right now, the ex-lead singer of deadboy & the Elephantmen, a band who played Siren Fest last summer, but didn't get much further. He's got an Eddie Vedder (how ironic, for Pearl Jam are the last band to play,) quality to his voice. Then it fades into a Beck-sea change-mode, but then makes you fight with yourself about whether its moving or completely unoriginal.
"demon tied to a chair in my brain" is one of the lyrics. Do have cheers or jeers?
ah well.
Let's wish him good fortune on his solo debut.
